Please note that you have to use the same bonus code i.e. 'STAR600' on each of your three deposits. | CAD ($) | CAD $625 | 16 VPPs per CAD |
Example: You make a first time deposit of $ 200. You will have a pending bonus balance of 100% of your deposit amount i.e. $200, which you will earn by collecting 17 VPPs for every bonus dollar. Remember that you have 183 days for each qualify deposits towards clearance of the bonus.
How VPPs are earned in PokerStars:
You can earn VIP Poker points by playing poker games that have a rake or fee. In Pokerstars tournaments, you get 5 VPPs for every $1 spent in entry fees or 8 VPPs for 1€. If you are playing in a tournament which costs $10+$1 where $10 is the prize pool money and $1 is the entry fee, you will receive 5 VPPs for this game. If you join a €10 buy-in sit 'n Go poker tournament with a €1 entry fee, you collect 8 VPPs. Note that 'Play Money' and 'freeroll' tournaments do not receive VPPs.
In PokerStars cash games, the VPPs are acquired by the amount of 'rake' taken on the hand played. Points are awarded based on the total rake collected at the table and the total number of player dealt into the hand, no matter how many players are seated or dealt in.
In Cash tables with 8 or more seats, VPPs are awarded at the rate of 6 VPPs for every $1 or 8.5 VPPs for every €1 collected in rake. The total points are then divided equally among the players dealt into that hand.
Example 1. A $4/$8 No Limit Hold’em game where eight players are dealt in and the rake is $4.00. The table is awarded 24 VPPs since the total rake is $4. That means each of the players will receive 3.00 VPPs.
Example 2. A €0.50/€1 No Limit Hold’em game where eight players are dealt in and the rake is €0.60. The table is awarded 5.10 VPPs since the total rake is €0.60. That means each of the players will receive 0.64 VPPs.
In Cash tables with 7 or fewer seats, VPPs are awarded at the rate of 5.5 VPPs for every $1 or 8 VPPs for every €1 collected in rake. The total points are then divided equally among the players dealt into that hand.
Example 1. A $2/$4 No Limit Hold’em game where four players are dealt in and the rake is $2.00. The table is awarded 11 VPPs since the total rake is $2. That means each of the players will receive 2.75 VPPs.
Example 2. A €0.25/€0.50 No Limit Hold’em game where four players are dealt in and the rake is €0.40. The table is awarded 3.20 VPPs since the total rake is €0.40. That means each of the players will receive 0.80 VPPs.
In Microstakes Hold’em Cash Tables, the VPPs are also acquired by the amount of 'rake' taken on the hand played. Points are awarded based on the total rake collected at the table and the total number of player dealt into the hand, no matter how many players are seated or dealt in. The total points are then divided equally among the players dealt into that hand. VPPs for these No Limit and Pot Limit Hold’em cash tables are awarded as below.
| VPPs for every $1.00 USD collected in rake | VPPs for every €1.00 EUR collected in rake | ||

| $0.05/$0.10 | 7 | €0.05/€0.10 | 9 |
Example 1. A $0.05/$0.10 ‘6-max’ Pot Limit Hold'em game where four players are dealt in and the rake is $0.64. The table is awarded 4.48 VPPs since the total rake is $0.64. That means each of the players will receive 1.12 VPPs.
